Many UK companies use call centres overseas to carry our their calling for them in countries such as India. These can cause many problems:-
- It is often difficult to understand what is being said because of the poor quality of the lines that are used
- Calls come in either with no caller-ID, or with a confusing caller-ID such as '0000'
- Overseas call centres calling on behalf of UK companies are obliged to clean their lists against the Telephone Preference Service but there are reasons to believe that many of them don't
- If you ask a caller from an overseas call centre not to call you back this request may not be passed back to the UK company
trueCall can block calls from overseas call centres while letting calls from your friends and family get through.
